This post is dedicated to my Mallina Kay

She is such a crack up, for some reason she only looks normal for 10 minutes after I get her dressed in the morning, or immediately before we leave the house. So, here are some of the photographic gems of my little sweet pea.

She is SO fashionable!

She is obsessed with this spoon!I LOVE Dorrito's, but HATE the orange fingers!

And just to prove that I do dress her and fix her hair on a regular basis, this is what she looks like today:

My Little Brownies

We went to the pool the other day, we were there just over an hour, both girls had sunscreen on. When they took their bath afterwards they had very noticeable tan lines! I am SO jealous at how easily they can tan. I will have to spend a lot of time in the sun myself so I don't look like a ghost next to them in pictures. Here are their backs (Eva has a little shade over her floaty so she wasn't in the sun as much as Mallina):
And a couple more pics because they are so cute:

The Phoenix Aloha Festival

A few weeks ago Phoenix had it's annual Aloha Festival. We met up with Kali and Monica and Noelle and Manu who have also moved here from Hawaii. It was a lot of fun and reminded us of home! I had some shave ice, and I'm sad to say it wasn't quite the same, but still pretty good. Here are some pics from the day!

Judy's dress

My mom has a dress that she wore when she was about two years old (right mom?) She will be mad I can't remember who made it for her, but one of her aunts crocheted it. She gave it to me to take a picture of Mallina in it, and I never did. By the time I got something for her to wear under it, she was too big. So now I am supposed to take a picture of Eva in it, and guess what mom I DID IT! This was kind of a trial run, I wanted to see if it fit her so I threw it on over her pink t-shirt. But some of the pictures turned out so cute, so here they are!

And while I was taking pictures of Eva, Mallina said "me too! me too!" She had just woken up from a nap, and this is what she looked like lol!

Hoppy Easter!

Ok, Nichole discreetly told me I needed to put up Easter pictures. I had plans for egg decorating on Saturday, but that didn't happen. The Easter Bunny didn't get the baskets out until Sunday afternoon, and thank goodness the Frosties and Nuttalls invited us over for an egg hunt or else that probably wouldn't happen either! My kids are still too young to know or care about holidays, so I kind of am enjoying that while I can! I did try to get some pictures of the girls in their dresses, but the field I choose had turned brown since the last time I remember looking at it, so they aren't too great. But Nichole's back yard looks great when the sun is going down! So, here ya go! (And yes I know there aren't many good shots of Mallina, she was constantly in motion!)

The egg hunt:

The dresses-Eva did have a bow in her hair, but she WOULDN'T leave it there, and it was windy. Ugh, I need to go out again and do a reshoot!

Eva Singing

So my sweet baby girl LOVES to sing songs that have hand movements that go along with them, like patty cake or itsy bitsy spider. One day a few weeks ago she was sitting off by herself and I looked over at her and realized that she was singing a song and doing the motions with her hands! It was the cutest thing! I am so glad I got a video of it. So here she is-get ready for some extreme cuteness!

My name is Boots and I'm a monkey

Mallina is obsessed with Dora. She has renamed all of us, and she won't let me call anyone by their real name. She is VERY adamant about it to. Let me introduce you to our little family.

This is me, AKA Boots (why I'm the monkey, I'll never know) Eva woke Mallina up from her nap and she said Hi Boots! then went right back to sleep. This is Mallina AKA Dora. Seriously, if I call her Mallina, she will get mad and say "NO! My name is DORA!"

And here is Ieli AKA Diego. He was walking ahead of us in the mall and she screams "DIEGO! Wait! Diego!"

And last but not least, here is little Eva, AKA Isa the Iguana. She is pretty cute. I said to Eva, "come on Eva, let's have some milk" to which Mallina replied (she actually stopped drinking her milk this afternoon and sat up in her sleepy stupor last night) and said, "NO! That's ISA!"

Perhaps she is watching too much tv? She has been telling me she is different characters for a while now, but this is the first time she has become so adamant about it all. She has me lol!

So, just because I didn't have anything else to do, here is a side by side comparison of each of us with our cartoon counterparts. (That's my crazy monkey face)

And just because this is a cute pic, and proof that Eva has a crazy monkey face too...
