Throwing rocks down by the river

My sister Aly and I took our kids up to the reservoir so they could throw rocks into the river :) They each had a sucker in one hand and rocks in the other. There were a few mishaps where my girls had to wash their suckers in the river, but my biologist sister assured me the water was too cold for any bacteria to live there. Gotta love nerdy know it all sisters! (I LOVE you Aly.) Here are some pictures of our day...

Speedracer

The other day was my sister Jenny's wedding shower at my cousin Greg's house. He has one of those Mules (or glorified golf carts as I say) and they were taking all the kids out on rides. You couldn't get Mallina off that thing, she absolutely loved it! I got a couple of quick shots while Greg was trying to convince Eva to go out with them. We were all shocked that he actually got to pick her up! (she isn't quite the social butterfly her big sissy is...the list of people she likes is quite short).

AND Aunt Aly is here! Woohoo! (Eva seems to like all my sisters :))

Missing you...

In case you didn't know, the girls and I are in Utah staying with my parents while Ieli is at home in Arizona. We've been gone three weeks and he misses us terribly (ok, we miss him too...) But I was on the phone with him and asked him if he had seen the latest blog and he said, yeah, I check that thing everyday, those pictures are old. So, just for that here are some random pictures of the girls. My dad was cleaning out a closet and Mallina spied these gardening gloves. They have become obsessed with them.

Please excuse the unmade bed and the three random ribbons in Mallina's hair. She was obsessed with those for a few days as well.

Posers

Last night we were playing outside and I started taking pictures because Ieli is dying for pictures of the girls while we are away from him. Jaxson started doing muscle poses and the girls started soon after. I got some of the cutest pictures of the three of them. They are definitely good for a laugh!

MMM! Ice Cream!

One of our favorite places to go (ok, maybe one of my favorite places to go) is Chick-Fil-A. We got some ice cream cones on the way home the other day and I got some cute shots (the sun kinda ruined Mallina's shot). And sadly enough one of Eva's favorite words is ice cream!

And those are SMALL cones. We had quite a mess in the car before we got home. It was Ieli's idea, so he had to clean it. :)

Bonjour!

Well, Grandma did it again, she found some really cute dresses for the girls, with matching beret's to top it off! I didn't get any award winning pictures, but here ya go. Eva wasn't too into the beret because she needed a nap, and Mallina wasn't too into the pictures because she needed a nap too. I bribed her with M&M's so that's why she's got all those cheesy smiles.

The best two:

And the outtakes:

Next time I will make sure they have had their naps, and I will avoid the bright green wool carpet :)

Mallina is the most brilliant three year old alive!

And she's only been three for three weeks. I bought some little Disney books that have a magna doodle attached to the top of them. The contents of the books show you how to draw different Disney characters. (They were supposed to entertain the girls for our LONGEST DRIVE EVER to Utah...more on that later). So Mallina was sitting on my mom's kitchen floor drawing on it, the rest of us were in the living room. She gets up and says "It's Nemo!" so I casually glance at the drawing she left on the floor and OH MY GOSH! My jaw dropped. Seriously, who does this when they are three? (Please just humor me, ok?)

This is the page she was drawing from, although he looks more like the Nemo at the top of the magna doodle.

My son, oops, nephew, Jaxson is in Utah with us (hooray!) and he kept getting in the shot so I took a picture of him. Nice bed head ;)
Soon he was begging to take a picture, I told him he could take one when he had the money to replace my camera if he broke it. :) he was so happy he got Mallina in there too. And what in the world is Ieli doing? He's got a look on his face that is saying "hey sexy."
Then Mallina wanted to take a picture too she has some learning to do. Or maybe she is showing her artistic side again?
And if your three year old can do something like this, just shut your pie hole and let me feel special.
