Ride 'em cowgirl!!

The kids in our family have always loved to jump on one of those bouncy horses and ride them until they break, literally. My mom found one on sale at Walmart and we just had to get it. Mallina decided to name him Spirit, and he is sitting outside on grandma's porch. I was worried that Mallina would be too big for it (she is the size of a 5 year old at age 3) but when Ieli put it together I knew she would be fine, he is so big! I snapped a few shots of the girls riding Spirit the other day.

And I just have to add that Mallina is now obsessed with horses. There are a lot of fields with horses in them around here and every time we drive by she goes on and on and on about riding a horse...she is refering to herself as a cowgirl. And Eva is starting to repeat everything she says. Anyone have a horse we can ride?

Update and some pics

We are in Utah right now hanging out with grandma and trying to do some house hunting. We will be moving here when our lease is up in Arizona after June. The first morning we were here Mallina woke up with a cough and things went downhill from there. Eva got so sick I took her to urgent care :( Luckily Ieli was here for the weekend so I had some help. But they are on the mend as of today and we actually have some beautiful weather! Yay! But...now Grandma Judy is sick :( I am ordering some pictures for Piga Dua (Ieli's mom) today and thought I would share some cute one's I got at the playground in our apartment complex. Enjoy!

More dresses = another photo shoot

Grandma Judy sent this dress to Mallina for Christmas and I am just now getting around to taking a picture of her wearing the dress.

Eva's dress is also one that Grandma Judy sent for Mallina when she was little(er) and is one of my favorites. I'm happy Eva can fit in it now.

Mallina in the dress (when Eva was a newborn)

And Eva in the same dress, doing push up's or something.

Look out Brooke Shields!

Mallina is going to give you a run for your money!! The other day Mallina somehow found some of my make up and she expertly applied some eyebrows. She already was pretty blessed in that area (I'm going to have to start grooming her uni-brow sometime) but I guess she felt she needed a little more "oomph."

This is what her eyebrows look like normally

And after...she nicely extended and darkened the left one.

She wanted me to take a picture of her cheese too. :)

I've gotta do it...

I am so beyond the type of person to write something all mushy about her husband. I'm one of those really snarky people who only make fun of the people they love. My husband isn't overly mushy either, he believes that asking me what I want for Christmas/birthday/mother's day etc. then telling me I should go and buy it is the way to get those kinds of things done.

During Ieli's last visit home in January there was something we were watching, I really don't recall what it was, but someone received flowers. When we were dating Ieli and I talked about flowers once, and he very strongly told me that giving flowers is a stupid waste of money and they die anyway, so what was the point? That made me a tiny bit sad because I have NEVER gotten a big old bouquet of flowers before and I figured if we got married who would ever give me some? So while we were watching whatever we were watching, I looked over at him and said "Ahhhh, will you just ONCE, someday give me flowers? Just one time?" To which he then said "Ah, you just made me feel really bad, like you would never get the most important thing to you in your whole life." And I said "Good, you should feel bad." bwahaha!

So the week leading up to Valentines day I get a call from my silly husband asking me how he could get me some flowers...haha! I directed him to the Internet and on Valentines day this is what I got :)

I love that they are a little bit different than what you would expect from your love on Valentines day, roses are the traditional flower (which I love) but Tulips are so beautiful and orchids are so exotic...and they remind me of van Gogh. I think he chose the perfect flowers for me :)

And not only did he get me flowers I got TWO boxes of these:

Yes, those are chocolate covered strawberries. Too bad I decided to start my diet this week, huh? They are still considered a fruit, right? Even though they are mostly chocolate?

So, just so everyone knows, my husband is great (or maybe I'm just great at guilt trips...) He really works so HARD so I can stay at home with my girls. He loves me more than I ever thought anyone would, and he is the BEST daddy two little girls could ever ask for. THANK YOU BABE! I love you :)

Valentines Day 2009

I know I am posting way too much all at once, but when I get the chance/energy to do this I feel like I have to get everything done! I bought the girls these huge heart shaped lollipops forever ago and intended to have a photo shoot done WAY before Valentines day...yeah right. I should know myself better than that! But I am so proud of myself for finally getting it done! Here are a few of my favorite shots I got but there are plenty more in the slide show before this post. Enjoy!

Happy Valentines Day!
