This one's for you daddy!
It's official, my husband has left me. He accepted a job in Vernal Utah and left us here to fend for ourselves. Ok, it's not that bad. But we are staying in Arizona to ride out our lease, and to escape the cold as long as we can before we move over there. So I am flying solo and it hasn't been too bad so far. Of course it hasn't quite been a week yet. The good news is I will probably be more on top of keeping up my blog since Ieli whines if he doesn't get new pictures of the girls every day or so. The following pictures are kind of random...all taken with my iPhone so they aren't the best quality, but oh well.
Eva being studious in the red chair. It looks like she is asleep, but she blinked...
Cheesy face Eva.
Mallina found this doll hat and proceeded to put it on her head. I was laughing pretty hard, the smile just adds to the humor...
My little Hawaiian maiden. She is obsessed with slippers, she doesn't have any of her own so she wears everyone elses.

I had Mallina pose for a picture in her skull shirt for Auntie Aly, the bone lover. I am trying to work on her smile with her so she isn't so cheese-a-licious.

Eva wanted a picture taken of her too, but she wouldn't move out of the shadows. (Notice the giant slippers she is wearing :)

Then we headed to the park! Eva riding the sea horse.

Mallina climbing, she would get to the top and call out for me to come and get her.

Eva decided to climb too...

I couldn't believe how high Eva climbed!

While we were there the moon came up and I thought it looked so cool. Of course this picture doesn't do it justice...

Ding dong, ding dong, wedding bells are ringing!
Jenny got married! Woohoo! Saturday was Chuck and Jenny's wedding and it was a wonderful day. (Jenny is my sister FYI). We had so many people come from out of town it was great seeing everyone. Mallina and Eva were flower girls and they looked quite adorable if I do say so myself :) So here are a few pictures from the day...I need to edit the rest of them, they were taken at night so they need to be lightened up. But here is what I have along with the slideshows below. Enjoy!

Curlers
When I was little my mom used to put my hair up in sponge rollers, mostly for dance performances, but I have so many memories of having my long hair rolled up in those curlers. When we were in Utah the girls found some of my mom's curlers and we had fun putting them in their hair.

So then we started thinking about my sister Jenny's upcoming wedding and wondering how Mallina's hair would do in curlers so I found some at Target last night and tried it out. As I was putting them in her hair she said, "Look mommy, I'm Grandma Judy!" hahaha!

Eva wouldn't be left out of the fun even though she has her own natural curl like mommy.

Mallina didn't let me leave them in that long before she started pulling them out herself, but in about half an hour we got some nice ringlets in there. I am hoping she will let me leave them in longer next time. They are both obsessed with the curlers now and they each have one in their hair as I type :)
